A modified alkyd finishing coat for vehicles, plant and machinery. Excellent durability with good resistance to oils, grease and similar. Dries to hard film with hard abrasion and impact resistance.

Colours available : See Industrial Colour Card. All British Standard and RAL colours are available on the Dacmix tinting scheme.
Appearance Of Dried Film : Gloss
Volume Solids : 40% (may vary with colour)
Dry Film Thickness : Typical 40 microns / Range 30-50 microns
Theoretical Coverage : 10m² per litre at 40 microns dry film thickness
Drying Time At 20°C :
(will vary with temperature, air movements, etc.) Touch Dry : 1 hour
Film Dry : 4 hours
Overcoat : Overnight or within 1 hour. See Note
Packaging : 5 litre containers
Shelf Life : 2 years in unopened containers when stored under cover in good storage conditions.
Storage : Under cover with temperature range of 5°C to 32°C.
Surface Preparation : Normally applied over Dacrylate range of primers, eg. 95-Line, 98-Line, etc.
Ensure surface is clean and dry.
Application : Supplied ready for use by brush.
Apply by conventional or airless spray may require addition of up to 15% Dacrylate Thinner R70 to achieve optimum spray characteristics.
Polychromatic colours such as RAL 9006 and RAL 9007 may be susceptible to slight variations in colour depending on application methods and the type of paint. In order to obtain the best colour and appearance, these colours are best spray applied.
Overcoating : Should a second coat of Vehicle and Machinery Enamel be required, this can be applied as soon as the first coat is touch dry, ie. up to 1 hour – or allow coating to dry overnight.
Clean-up : Dacrylate Thinner R1 or R70.
