Silicone, aluminium coating type, typically used as a bright aluminium heat resistant finish for use up to 600°C.

Dry Film Thickness : Typical 20 microns
Theoretical Coverage : 10.0m² per litre at 20 microns
Drying Time At 20°C :
(will vary with temperature, air movements, etc.) Touch Dry : 10 minutes
Film Dry : 1 hour
Overcoat : After 1 hour
Note : A heat cure at 250°C for about 1 hour is required to produce a heat resistant finish
Packaging : 5 litre containers
Shelf Life : 1 year in unopened containers when stored under cover in good storage conditions.
Storage : Under cover with temperature range of 5°C to 32°C. Remove lids with care due to possible pressure build-up in tin.
Surface Preparation : Abrasive blast to ISO 8501-1 SA2.5 is the preferred method.
Clean, mild steel, free of millscale or rust, should be thoroughly degreased with Dacrylate Thinner R5.
Application : Apply by conventional spray to a wet film thickness of approximately 100 microns to achieve a dry film thickness of 20 microns.
Clean-up : Dacrylate Thinner R5
