PVB/zinc chromate coating specfically for aluminium. Can be used on other ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals, galvanising, etc. Conforms to DEF STAN 80-15.

Drying Time At 20°C :
(will vary with temperature, air movements, etc.) Touch Dry : 5 minutes
Film Dry : 10 minutes
Overcoat : 3 hours
Packaging : 5 litre two-pack composite pack
Shelf Life : 12 months in unopened containers, when stored under cover in good storage conditions.
Storage : Under cover with temperature range of 5°C to 32°C.
Surface Preparation : Degrease all surfaces thoroughly with Dacrylate Thinner R11.
Application : Thoroughly stir base component. Add acid catalyst slowly and continue mixing until homogeneous.
Apply by convential spray or brush. A wet film thickness of approximately 110 microns is required to achieve a dry film thickness of 10 microns.
Avoid over application, apply as a thin wet continuous film.
Overcoating : When fully dry, the Etch Primer should be overcoated as soon as possible.
Pot Life : 8 hours – Do not use after this period.
Mixing Ratio : 1:1
Clean-up : Dacrylate Thinner R11
